What we’re all about.

Hi, I’m Lucy Green

The founder and lead instructor at Homebody Club.

A quick introduction…
My pronouns are she/her, I’m an INFJ, Aries Sun, Taurus Rising, Scorpio Moon and an Emotional Generator.

At age 7 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and in my early adult years, I’ve been additionally diagnosed with Lupus, Anxiety and Chronic Fatigue.

With this unique lens on life from my invisible illnesses, I have continually experienced a lack of resources available to those with different physical and mental requirements. During a flair-up, I did not have the energy nor physical capacity, to attend a mainstream movement class (e.g. Pilates, Yoga, HIIT) and it felt like other well-being resources didn’t understand what I was going through.

Homebody Club® was created in 2018 as a blog to share self-development and spirituality tips and has bloomed into a beautiful community and comprehensive, accessible wellbeing resource for all bodies.

Our vision

Our vision is a world where everyone has access to the resources, tools and support they need for their well-being. We envision a society in which people with invisible illnesses are not only respected, but also celebrated

Our mission

Our mission is to give universal access to self-care tools and for wellbeing to be an integral part of daily lives for all bodies.

How we do this

We create complimentary and paid accessible resources to support your self-care practices (that we’ve termed ‘Daily Devotion®’), that includes mindfulness techniques, adaptive restorative movements for bodies with different abilities, a likeminded community, and more.
