How to treat yourself for free this Valentine's Day

Perhaps you want to treat yourself to something this V Day, but your funds are restricted? Here’s some pointers on how to treat yourself for free.
Fill a bath and drop in a lush bath bomb.
If you don’t have a bath, make yourself a foot spa. Use things from your cupboard; epsom salts, lavender oil or peppermint oil in warm water.
Play your favourite band from when you were a tween
Read a book you've been wanting to read - if you don’t own it, join your local library and borrow it.
Lie in the sun for 15 minutes.
Make fun and relaxing plans for the coming weekend.
Stretch your whole body. Here’s a video for starters.
Go for a stroll and put on your favourite podcast,
Start a new Netflix series that you've been wanting to watch.
Create a new board on pinterest with an area you want to manifest and aim for. E.g. New house? Travel? Puppies?
Watch your favourite childhood movie.
Go on a picnic with friends (or even by yourself).
Bake your favourite treat.
Find a free gig, go to a museum or art gallery.
Put on your favourite essential oils or candle.
Put on a hair mask: even olive or coconut oil makes a great mask.
Drink coffee? Mix used coffee grounds with oil for a body scrub and lather yourself up in the shower (your skin will feel so smooth and moisturised).
Play your favourite game e.g: Xbox, Nintendo 64, Sims, Neopets, Monopoly.
Make a pledge to quit the negative self-talk. Be conscious of when you say something negative to yourself (“I’m too fat/thin/tall/short/smart/poor/whatever”), pause and replace this negative remark with 2 positive things. It will take time, but this will be one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
